Earlier this month we reported the sad news of the death of former Nottingham Forest, Peterborough and Sky Blues defender Peter Hindley. peacefully Peter passed away peacefully on the 1st February aged 76 after suffering with dementia in recent years. His funeral will take place at Peterborough Crematorium on the 19th February.

A full 1,000 word appreciation of Peter’s life and professional career in football, in particular his Sky Blues days, penned by CCFPA Chairman and CCFC official Club Historian Jim Brown. has been uploaded to this site now. It includes interviews with Peter’s widow Sandra and former Sky Blue footballing colleagues like Colin Stein, Gordon Milne and David Cross.
