Yes it was really sad news Fred. Ernie’s family were at the game last night and there is a memorial service at the cathedral next month (see our website http://www.ccfpa.co.uk)

Thanks so much Neil. It was very sad. Ernie’s family were at the match last night and were very touched by the warmth of the reception given by the crowd before the game (see our website). There will be a memorial service at the Cathedral on 26th of next month if you want to come. Have you considered joining the Coventry City Former Player’s Association? Its completely free of charge – we have major reunions (next one in a month’s time) and any time you want to come to the Ricoh to see a game you can get free entry for you and a friend.
