Peter Bodak and (possibly) Sheffers at the Ricoh Tomorrow

Just a reminder that the Association’s ‘special guest tomorrow (Saturday 30th January 2016 ) for the Sky Blues important last home fixture of January against Scunthorpe United is CCFPA member and former forward Peter Bodak.   Peter will be looking to see if the Sky Blues can return to their excellent Ricoh home form (after losing their unbeaten home league record against top of the table Burton Albion last time out).

There is a chance that two time Sky Blue, ‘Cov Kid’ (and CCFPA member) Gary McSheffrey will also be making his return from injury back at the Ricoh for Scunny.

With CCFPA member Gael Bigirimana also potentially featuring for the Sky Blues, true Sky Blue Legend and current goalkeeping coach Steve Ogrizovic in the dugout and former Sky Blue defender and club host Brian‘Harry’ Roberts in the supporter’s and corporate lounges there will likely be a number of our former player membership doing their stuff at the Ricoh tomorrow! Also we expect quite a number of our regular FP members and committee members to attend the game including Kirk Stephens, Peter Wyer, Micky Gynn, Dave Bennett, Ken Brown, Bill Tedds, Ron Farmer, Gordon Simms, Claus Jorgensen, Peter Hormantschuck, Graham Walker, Lol Harvey, Ian Goodwin, Lol Harvey, Brian Nicholas, Craig Pead. Sadly Ken Satchwell who passed away last week will be missing from his usual ‘chair’ in the Ricoh lounges.

Expect to see Peter Bodak in the Family Zone with the Junior Sky Blues before the game as well as ‘around the ‘lounges’ interviewed by ‘Harry’ prior to kick-off. After the game we will get Peter to join CCFPA vice chairman Billy Bell in a Q&A for supporters on the stage of Lady Gs in the G-Casino (free admission). If you can’t make the game listen to Peter on the airways as he joins the BBC’s live matchday commentary team in the Press Box. It should be a great day to welcome back Peter!
