Legends Day 2024 Team Photo

Our 36 returning ‘Legends’, after making their half-time entrance in wonderful sunshine and parading (in order of making their Sky Blue debut) to the centre of the excellent CBS pitch had one more task.  After they were  individually announced by CCFPA’s Billy Bell to congregate in the centre of the stadium they then collectively closed ranks for their traditional centre-circle team photo (above). There is a full video of the long walk to the centre-circle (thanks to CCFPA’s Richard Morris) on our Facebook page – just click on that button to the right of this post to see it.

Max Biamou & Dave Bennett

This part of every Legends Day when our ‘stars of the past’ gather to receive the acclaim of the Arena’s bumper crowd is always eagerly awaited by fans and FPs alike. Last Saturday’s Sky Blues Championship game against Q.P.R. was no exception as our ‘Legends’ and fans (of both sides) in the 29,000 crowd applauded each other before the FPs left the pitch to take up their seats to further socialise and watch the second half unfold.

We provide here more photos of the happy band of visiting FPs on the pitch  and socialising in the stadium before repairing to the Premier Lounge after the final whistle!

Look out in the next posts tomorrow for coverage of the Association’s raffle and auction which took place in the Premier Lounge during Legends Day 2024 and then all the fun and games (and sing-song) in the G-Casino’s Lady Gs Lounge after the game.

Thanks to CCFPA’s Mike Young, Richard Morris and our ‘official photographer’ Andy Scaysbrook for these images.
