Legends Day 2024 -4: FP’s H-T Centre Circle Walk-Pt.3 Nineties & Noughties Legends
Less than two hours ago we continued our coverage of our the 36 FPs who we entertained at last Saturday’s Legends Day 2024 celebrations going pitch-side to enter the playing area at half-time after watching the first 45 minutes of the game from their seats close-by. As per usual CCFPA’s Billy Bell announced each player as they walked onto the CBS hallowed turf in playing decade order to a warm welcome from fans of both sides and marched towards the centre-circle amidst lots of applause.
There is a full video of the long walk to the centre-circle (thanks to CCFPA’s Richard Morris) on our Facebook page – just click on that button to the right of this post to see it. Following on from the walk-on proceedings with photos of 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s Former Players we continue with the 1980s and 1990s ‘Stars of the Past’ as they made their way to the centre-circle for the traditional half-time ‘team photo’ when our FP guests and the 29,000 crowd acclaimed each other!
(NB Kenny Sansom started the ‘walk to the centre-circle and Richard Shaw ended the parade out of their decade order). Bussty, now CCFC’s Head of Community’ was one of the FPs who got a particularly loud cheer!
