Members News: Can You Work Out The ID Of Our Newest Recruit?

As is usual before announcing the recruitment of a new member we like to offer you an opportunity to exercise your Sky Blue memory muscles and have a guess as to his identity from a few clues and a heavily doctored picture we provide here.

Our newest member was initially in contact with CCFPA’s match-day arrangement host Sarah Morris and supported the club he played for within the last decade at the Sky Blues magnificent recent F.A.Cup semi-final battle at Wembley with Premier League Manchester United. Our forward with a fairly exotic name was in fact born in the City of our opponents that day and started his footballing career in Lancashire.

Who is this?

He only played one game for his first two League Clubs though got plenty of games for five clubs where he was sent out on loan to gain experience. Our latest member was a Mark Robins signing and made more than five dozen appearances in his two seasons with us netting approaching a score of goals. Our new man, now 29, is still registered with a League Two outfit this season and since leaving CCFC has featured for two other English and one Scottish League team.
