Members News: Another Conundrum! Guess Who We’ve Signed Up Now?

Well CCFPA’s committee member (and match-day host) Sarah Morris has been working on this one quite a while! Now she has finally ‘got her man’ and completed arrangements to get the signature of a singular former Sky Blue. The new recruit, a fairly contemporary denizen of the ex CCFC fraternity, is currently playing abroad and Sarah arranged, with some deviousness, for the Association’s official membership badge and tie to be couriered (by a friend of the Association) to the country where our latest recruit is currently plying his trade! A formal presentation was then arranged.

Who Is This?

As usual we like to tease you a bit before revealing the identity of the new member who joins our roster, more than 340 strong, of CCFC ‘stars of the past’. We fear he will not be too hard to guess from the few clues (and heavily doctored photo) we provide here so we will not be too revealing!

Suffice it to say our latest recruit is not a UK native though he has been attached to two English (including the Sky Blues) and one Welsh team in his time within these shores. He has also played elsewhere in Europe including his home country and and an entirely different part of the European geography currently. In all these places he has shown he knows where the goal is and is enormously difficult to shake off the ball once he has got it. He is also an experienced international for his home country. Nuff said!
