CCFPA Special Guest for the evening, last Wednesday on a bitterly cold evening game at the Ricoh was Claus Bech Jorgensen. Claus saw a gritty performance from the Sky Blues as they resisted tremendous pressure from table topping Tranmere Rovers to hang on to a first half goal from newest signing Leon Clarke.

Claus, who besides touring the Ricoh’s lounges before the match and talking to fans and being interviewed by Association member and fellow former player Brian Roberts, provided cogent match analysis for the commentary provided by the BBC CWR team. Claus also did a stint (pictured above) on the stage of Lady Gs in the G-Casino entertaining an enthusiastic assembly of supporters in the company of m/c and CCFPA vice chairman Billy Bell.

Thanks to Claus (who is also a committee member of the Association along with two other ex City players Dave Bennett and Kirk Stephens) for ‘doing the Honours’ for CCFPA on another red letter day in the Sky Blues’ revival under manager Mark Robbins!
