John Fleck Named CCFPA/G-Casino ‘Player of the Season’

CCFPA is pleased to announce that this season’s G-Casino/CCFPA ‘Player of the Season’ award goes to Sky Blues’ midfielder John Fleck.

The award is the result of totting up the ‘man of the match’ votes awarded by Sky Blue fans after each home game in the G-Casino at the Ricoh Arena as each CCFPA ‘special guest’ for the day/evening is introduced to a typically packed Lady G’s Show Bar for some Q&A and repartee with m/c, CCFPA’s Billy Bell.

Flecky got the award for consistently strong performances over the season and it is hoped that he will be present to receive the award on the stage at Lady G’s this Saturday after the Sky Blues’ last home game of the season against Sheffield United when our special guest will be Sky Blue Legend Ian Wallace. So, there is double the reason to get down to Lady Gs tomorrow.

It is also hoped that the award will be presented to John again more formally at the Club’s official award ceremony at Coombe Abbey on May 4th.
