Walking Football BedduthDon’t worry about the weather, you can keep warm by joining the SBiTC Walking Football sessions in December. They continue on a regular Tuesday slot tomorrow (1st December 2015) at Bedworth Town FC’s Oval ground. All sessions are designed to offer gentle but competitive exercise for the over 50s (men and women) and start at 10.30am running through to around noon. They cost £3 (including hot and cold refreshments) and often taking part are CCFPA full members including the likes of Bill Tedds, Dietmar Bruck, Ken Brown, Ian Goodwin, Dave Bennett, committee members Dean Nelson, Sarah-Jane Morris and Frank Pritchard and a number of Associate Members. There are regularly more than 30 players enjoying the exercise and banter, so why not join the regulars – there are often ‘newbies’ joining the fun too!

If you can’t make this session there is another regular event too in Coventry next and every Thursday (same time and cost) held at St.Finbarr’s Sport & Social Club.  Both sets of friendly events are run by CCFC’s Sky Blues In The Community run by former Sky Blue defender (and CCFPA member) Dave Busst and have always been supported by the Coventry City Diamond Club, Coventry City Former Players Association  and Covsupport News Service and their members.
