Legends XI at Atherstone

Coventry City Legends XI (containing several CCFPA members -in bold) won their annual charity match in Atherstone on Sunday last.

In an entertaining game (in memory of Paul Baddeley) which took place at Atherstone Town FC and raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support the Legends XI ran out easy winners by nine goals to one. The Legends XI is managed by former Sky Blues David Busst and Dave Bennett – both played.

The team included former Sky Blue first team favourites Marcus Hall, Dele Adebola, Dave Bennett, David Busst, Lee Carsley and Barry Quinn as well three 1990s former CCFC reserve players, Gavin O’Toole,  Scott Goodwin and Andrew Lovelock.
